Fresh Air

This past week Dusty and I have had a few opportunities to get out of our daily routine and enjoy nature. Living in Salt Lake City and with Dusty busy with school we don't head to the canyons as much as we used to, but the times we do now are cherished. As I recall, the statement, "We really need to do this more," is always said by one or both of us as we breath in the crisp fresh air and enjoy the splendor of the mountains.

Last weekend we headed up to City Creek where we took some fun photos, here are a couple:

Tonight we also were able to get some not-so-fresh air on our walk downtown.

One of our favorite things to do is to take night shots. Here are some pictures that we will leave as a treat for your eyes to enjoy.

Moab Trip

Haley has been busting her butt lately, coordinating the life enhancing activities at the Golden Living Center, and she deserved a break. Luckily, the powers that be at medical school decided that after an intense 8 week introduction to medical school, we also deserved a break. Does this mean that we would get a week off of school like the rest of the University of Utah? Of course not. That would be preposterous. In fact we wouldn't get any days off of school. Instead, after our midterm practical on thursday, but before our midterm histology quiz on Tuesday, we would actually get a break from our normal weekly test and instead have just have 4 hours of lectures. How generous.

But we both deserved the break is the point, so we took off to Moab to do some hiking and camping. Check out the long exposure night photography and other pics from the trip. Enjoy
